• Atlas of the best mentoring practices in Russian healthcare system.
• Analytical report on current situation and future perspectives for workforce potential of Moscow healthcare system, including considerations on development of the mentoring system within the Moscow healthcare system and the inclusion of the most promising medical workers in the mentoring system; explanation of broad implementation of successful mentoring models (universal and specific models).
• Methodological recommendations for the development of mentoring in various medical organizations of Moscow Healthcare Department. 
• Reasonable proposals for changing the role of a nurse, including recommendations on optimizing the organizational and technical aspects in order to increase the role of nurses in providing medical care, increasing the subjective assessment of nurses regarding the expansion of this role, improving the educational process within professional medical education and continuing medical education in order to expand the role of nurses, implementing management mechanisms that can help doctors adapt to the expansion of the role of nurses in providing medical care in the most effective way.
• Strategic planning and educational strategies of Moscow healthcare professionals, including trajectories/models of labor behavior formed under the influence of various motivational factors.
• Algorithms for individual (career) trajectories of healthcare professionals.

The results of our work done in 2020 are presented in the corresponding monograph based on the results of the project implementation phase, as well as in 36 scientific publications and at 12 scientific and practical events.

In 2021, as part of the second phase of the project, the following subprojects are being carried out:

1. "Mentoring in the Moscow Healthcare System":

• Scientific and methodological support of the introduction of mentoring models in Moscow medical organizations.
• Compilation of the "Atlas of the best mentoring practices in Moscow healthcare system".

2. "Institutions assessing professional qualifications of healthcare workers":

• Research of institutional works for assessing the professional certification of medical specialists (including accreditation, qualification certification, Moscow Doctor program and independent qualification assessment).

3. Digital platform "Individual trajectories of professional and career growth":

• Scientific and methodological support in technical implementation of a digital platform designed to provide medical professionals with an opportunity to design and implement individual trajectories of professional and career growth.

4. "Opportunities for exporting medical services": 

• Improvement of medical care provision to patients from different ethnic and cultural groups, as well as development of ways to prevent and minimize possible costs of medical care in such cases.

Monograph "Professional growth and labor strategies of healthcare professionals"

The monograph presents the results of the research work carried out by the NIIOZMM in 2020. The work deals with important aspects of human potential development within Moscow healthcare system: goals, significance and practical experience of the  mentoring as system; features of professional and qualification growth of medical workers; expectations and risks from the upcoming expansion of nurses' work; development of a digital platform concept and algorithms for building doctors' work trajectories in order to implement career strategies. Upon the results of statistical data analysis and social research the authors draw conclusions about the attitudes and expectations of Moscow healthcare professionals regarding their professional growth and career aspirations and elaborated optimal management decisions according to the opinion of medical workers.

“Atlas of the best mentoring practices in Russian healthcare system”

For the first quarter of 2020 within the project "Scientific and methodological support for the professional growth of specialists and the forecast of the development of human resources for the state healthcare system of the city of Moscow". The analysts have identified the strengths and weaknesses of mentoring practices implementation in the healthcare system, opportunities and threats, stakeholders, and advantages of the system. The following work was done:

A collection of materials for the V International Scientific and practical conference of the ISESP RAS based on the results of the first quarter of 2020 was prepared by analysts of the Department of Healthcare Organization of the NIIOZMM.

Healthcare professionals in Moscow: vision of future 

In 2019, the Research Institute of Healthcare Organization and Medical Management of Moscow Healthcare Department implemented a large-scale scientific project to describe the image of a modern medical specialist as part of Moscow healthcare system.

Monograph "Human resourcing of the Moscow Healthcare System", 2019

Workforce capacity development of the Moscow Healthcare System is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of the implementation of medical care standards. In this regard, there was a need for new theoretical approaches and practical recommendations to achieve these goals.
