Medical and Sociological Research

Center for medical and sociological research collects, processes, monitors, consolidates and analyzes public opinion, medical staff and experts’ views in order to improve Moscow healthcare system.

Key research areas:

1. Studying population and medical workers loyalty to healthcare system and developing recommendations for its promotion
2. Analyzing image and status of Moscow specialists (doctors, nurses) and developing recommendations for its improvement
3. Studying health living practices and developing recommendations for its improvement
4. Detecting connection between personnel and successful organization work and developing recommendations for its improvement based on staff feedback
5. Supporting Moscow healthcare changes by conducting sociological studies on a monthly basis. The topics include organization of psychiatric, oncological palliative and other health services, attitude towards vaccines, leaders’ opinion analysis

Now the Center is conducting a study supported by WHO/Europe. This research is devoted to tools for behavioral insights on Covid-19. (See Cooperation).

Since 2021 the Institute has been a member of ISA (International sociological Organization).

The Center’s team won Research got talent, a Russian national competition, in 2021.

The Center annually organizes an international forum Sociology of Health and presents key work result on its website.
