He graduated from the Moscow Medical College No. 7 majoring in General Medicine, the Lomonosov Moscow State University majoring in International Relations, and the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis majoring in Psychology. He also got a PhD degree in Political Psychology at the Department of Sociology and Psychology of Politics, Faculty of Political Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He has a wide experience of research and analysis in the social sciences: public administration, politics, sociology, psychology. He led many projects aimed at satisfying the needs of healthcare organizations, the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, as well as non-profit organizations.
He is the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific publications in sociological studies, including monographs published abroad (Lexington Books, US).
