Health Policy Makers Forum

Each year, the Research Institute for Healthcare Organization and Medical Management is organizing a three-day scientific and methodological forum for healthcare organizers and policy makers as part of the Russian Health Week.

The Moscow healthcare system has undergone significant transformations in recent years. Thanks to a well-thought-out strategy and initiatives by city authorities, major changes have been achieved in the city's healthcare. New scientific and methodological frameworks have been established that align with new realities for transforming the healthcare system. The comprehensive shift to big data analysis and new digital solutions is helping doctors develop and implement the most effective diagnostic and treatment schemes, along with prevention and rehabilitation, and introduce new patient routing principles. Hospitals are being transformed into high-precision digital clinics capable of performing unique operations.

Year after year, during the plenary session and panel sections of the Forum, chief physicians of Moscow clinics, healthcare managers and policymakers, doctors, scientists, and experts discuss how the capital's healthcare is changing, highlighting key achievements and successful management practices. The forum always focuses primarily on discussing critical issues in organizing and managing Moscow's healthcare system, including strategic human resources decisions and proposals for effective financial planning. Significant attention is given to consolidating the experiences, knowledge, and suggestions of participants to improve the healthcare system, showcasing best practices, technologies, innovative projects, and solutions in the field of Moscow's healthcare.
